Bally Total Fitness Reviews

Bally Fitness, also known as Bally’s Total Body Fitness is one of the most well-known gyms in the United States. Additionally, the company also bought Nautilus Fitness Centers and American Fitness Centers. In 1995, all of these fitness centers became known as Bally Total Fitness.

Bally Fitness provides their customers the latest cardio and strength equipment from the best gym equipment manufacturers like Star Trac Fitness, Life Fitness and Precor. These are rather expensive machines therefore this company keeps and maintains them well to maximize their value. Any piece of equipment that is worn out or malfunctioning is replaced to ensure that they are safe for customers to use.

Too Busy

Since membership fees in Bally Fitness are very affordable, a lot of people patronize their facilities. Therefore, a customer can expect a heavy crowd of people in the gym, especially during peak hours.  However, a customer can have more space if he uses the gym at off-peak hours, but that depends on his schedule. The most convenient time is right after the gym opens.

Amenities

Rating: 9/10

There are Bally Fitness gyms that have excellent amenities. For instance, the plush Bally Fitness gym in Las Vegas has a Blu Pool where customers can take a swim. There are also 8 full-size tennis courts with illumination for those who love to play tennis at night. A spa is also open to their customers who would want relaxing massages, hydrotherapies and body wraps.

Customer Service

Rating 8/10

Since there are many customers using the services of Bally Fitness, there will be customers that will be satisfied with their services and there will be customers that will have some complaints. Reading some of these reviews will give the impression that there are more customers who have complaints than those who were satisfied. Most complaints are directed against their staff on the floor thus reflecting on the low quality of the customer service they are providing. The management of this company should focus on this aspect of their operations if they want to stay on top of their game.

Locker Room and Shower

Rating: 9/10

With Bally Fitness, this is one of the areas that you won’t find any fault. Most of their gyms, if not all, are well provided with locker rooms and showers. Security is one of the things that Bally Fitness provides their customers very well.

Overall Experience

Rating: 8/10

Bally Fitness has all the gym equipment and machines that any customer will need to improve their strength and form. It has also the amenities that will make anyone’s gym experience a good one. But this experience could be better if the company will concentrate on improving their customer service. Thankfully, not all of their gyms have this problem. But for the gyms having such issues, they should take note of the complaints and aim to improve.
