A Planet Fitness guest pass gives you that opportunity to see for yourself the amenities of a club, as well as to experience how it feels like to work out in a Planet Fitness gym.

You must realize that Planet Fitness targets casual exercisers, and its equipment and facilities are designed for such type of individual. Thus, there are no heavy barbells at Planet Fitness gyms unlike in other gyms. Likewise, there are more cardio training machines than free weights.

Getting a$10 pass at a Planet Fitness location will also give you an idea on the type of environment that PF clubs have. Did you know that PF clubs prohibit excessive grunting, and even psyching up rituals that pro bodybuilders love to do?

That would pose a problem for you, especially if you are serious in bodybuilding. You might find Planet Fitness gyms too laidback for your taste, so it’s really recommended that you work out in a Planet Fitness club first before signing a long-term membership contract with them.

Fortunately for you, there are several ways to get a Planet Fitness guest pass.

Find a Friend or Colleague with PF Black Card

Planet Fitness is known for its very inexpensive membership rates. There are actually two membership types in Planet Fitness—the basic membership which has a monthly fee of $10, and the Black Card membership which has a monthly fee of $20.

The Black Card membership gives its bearer several privileges, the most awesome of which is unlimited guest privileges at any Planet Fitness location. That’s right, anyone who has a Planet Fitness Black card can bring in as many guests as he or she wants at any Planet Fitness location.

So you can start asking around your work area if there’s anyone who has a Planet Fitness Black Card. In case you’re lucky enough to find a peer or friend that has the said membership at PF, ask him or her to accompany you to a Planet Fitness club that is closest to your area.

Contact a Planet Fitness Club near You

You can also contact a Planet Fitness club near you and inquire whether they are offering any promos such as Planet Fitness free trial.  This is particularly true for PF clubs that are newly opened, as these clubs don’t have as many members compared to older and more established PF gyms.

You can also visit the websites of the Planet Fitness club near your area then enter your ZIP code and find the store closest to your residence or workplace.

Be On the Lookout for Promos

Every now and then, Planet Fitness offers membership sales at participating locations nationwide. For instance, the company offered a down payment of $1 and then a monthly fee of $10. The promotion, which was run from January 1 through 9, gave budget-conscious individuals the opportunity to work out without breaking the bank.

Although the promo offered by Planet Fitness does not exactly give you a free pass to any club, the down payment of $1 is practically giveaway.

You can regularly visit the Planet Fitness website to get updated on these promotions. Or you can follow them on Facebook and Twitter to get the freshest information on their amazing deals.

Visit Deal Websites

Here’s another way to get a Planet Fitness guest pass. Visit deal websites and see if there are current promos that can give you a Planet Fitness free trial. Some of the more popular deal sites which often carry Planet Fitness coupons and free pass offers are Deal Plus, Good Search, and Slick Deals.

In case you are able to find a Planet Fitness free pass offer on these websites, make sure that the promo or offer is ongoing. You can also check with a Planet Fitness gym near you and verify if it does accept coupons or Planet Fitness free trial offers from deals websites you stumble upon on the Internet.

So what are you waiting for? Start looking for a PF free pass and get the chance to work out at a Planet Fitness club near you.

As far as I know there is no contract for the $10/mo membership, but the black card membership has a 1 year mandatory commitment/cancellation fees.

This article seems to imply that Black Card members can bring as many guests as they want on any single visit, but this is not the case. They may bring any guest they want, but may only bring one per visit.

$20 for one work out!? Thats ridiculous. A one momth membership is $10. They need to allow people to try it out first to see if they like the equipment. One work out should be free. A week can be 20$, but seriously, how can you tell without working out there first, if you are gonna want to join? Its a way to trap people into the anual fee. Club fitness offers a free week. Same type equipment. Plus idk if Im gonna want the relgular or blakc card until I work out in more than one. i have several withon the same distance from me and there several more I pass, I could use too.
